Rome and its painters

Sunday afternoon.....walking among the painters of piazza Navona....It's always a pleasure to have a look at the work of the numerous artists who choose piazza Navona as their atelier...Love talking to them about their different techniques and observing them expressing their feeling through their paint brushes, pencils and colours....

This is Jacqueline, from the Netherlands, she moved to Rome two years ago...She makes beautiful water colours drawings

The turquoise necklace lady

....litte portrait of the Pope

Jonathan and Castel Sant'Angelo

I thought he looked like Napoleon Bonaparte.....maybe a descendant of his? !!

Among light blue and pink

.... red in this corner of the square!

The sunflower girl and her grandfather

This is my aunt Liz from New York negotiating the price of a drawing she would like to buy!

Very simple ..... but amazing bright colours

Dinner time for painters too!!

.... and a bit of street music...why not?

This painter look a little bit like one of our politicians.....maybe this is what he is doing on sundays? !!!

This girl is from Moldavia; she is usually performing here among the painters....must be very inspiring for her music...
